Neil is the owner and founder of Century Electric. A graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology (Newark College of Engineering at the time), Neil is also a Professional Engineer. He spent ten years honing his knowledge and expertise as a project manager for Hatzel & Buehler and Beach Electric. In 1983, Neil began Century Electric. His vision was to create a company that would be held accountable for the highest quality work and the strongest work ethic. For 30 years, Neil has led a team of professionals that meet his high standards, and has brought his advanced knowledge to bear working with a wide range of commercial, corporate, educational, data center, health care, industrial and pharmaceutical clients. Neil is experienced in all types of electrical construction from conceptual budgets through acceptance testing and start-ups. He is a Former President of the Northern NJ chapter of NECA, Former Chairman of Local 102 IBEW JATC and a current member of Professional Engineers in Construction-NSPE.

Scott graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with an Engineering degree and later earned his Masters in Engineering Management from that highly prestigious school. He also holds a NJ Electrical license. He began his career in 1980 with Ernest Jarvis Co. as an estimator. He became an electrician in Local Union #52 (later merged with Local Union #164), and, to this day, he still retains his Union Card. Scott joined Century as an estimator/project manager in 1993. Four years later he left to build a successful career on his own, eventually becoming Senior Vice President at Mehl Electric. Scott rejoined Century Electric in 2012. His reason: he wanted to be a part of the firm Neil had built based on his commitment to traditional values, something Scott believes in and feels strongly about. Scott is well versed in all aspects of the electrical industry including project management, estimating, contract negotiation and budget planning. Scott is a vital and key member of Century Electric’s Senior Management team.

John has over 35 years in the electrical contracting industry and holds a NJ Electrical License. For 17 years he was the President of Current Electric, Inc., a privately held mid-sized firm in Morris County, before joining Century Electric in 2000. He is well versed in all phases of estimating, project management, contract negotiation and budget planning, and brings a passion to his job that benefits each of Century Electric’s clients. John has been a member of many industry groups and is the former President of the Morris County Electrical Contractors Association. He is also a member of NJSA as well as a NETA Affiliate. His vast experience working with a wide range of industrial, pharmaceutical, data center, health care, commercial, educational and corporate clients has made him an invaluable part of Century Electric’s Senior Management team.
